Who can pass up the chance for a fun night out with friends and the opportunity to give to a great cause? Not me! On April 30th Ashley Abernethy’s 2nd Annual Purple Star Foundation Fundraiser will be hosting a pub crawl and silent auction in downtown Lee’s Summit to raise research funding for SNUC-SinoNasal Undifferentiated Carcinoma. Based on the huge turnout last year it looks to be an exciting evening.
Ashley Abernethy’s Purple Star Memorial Fund was established to honor Ashley Abernethy, who fought a courageous 7 month battle with Sinus Cancer. Ashley lost her battle with SNUC (SinoNasal Undifferentiated Carcinoma) on December 1, 2009, three days shy of her 23rd birthday. All donations will go to fund research for SNUC. Tickets are $25 per person to participate and you’ll get drink specials at the sponsoring pubs, eligibility for prizes and guaranteed fun. Silent Auction event at each pub. You can send a check with your t-shirt size to:

Ashley’s Purple Star Foundation hosted a fundraising event on May 1st, at the Bliss Plaza in Greenwood Missouri. In addition to food, beverages, and live entertainment they offered a silent auction.
